After the huge success of the original Air Jordan 1 “Shattered Backboard”, it appears that Jordan Brand will be releasing a third variation later this Fall, right before Halloween. At the moment sources suggest that the model boasts a slightly different color layout across its crinkled glossy/patent leather construction with black dominating the majority of the upper. Starfish (orange) is implemented on the toebox, Swoosh, ankle/heel, and the Nike Air branding on the tongues. Finally, a Sail/Off-White rubber sole unit solidifies the design.
Update: (6/4) Detailed images of what is reported to be the actual variation of the upcoming Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG Shattered Backboard 3.0 have surfaced.
Update: (4/8) Sources are saying that this latest image features the exact color layout of Black, Pale Vanilla and Starfish on the upcoming silhouette, along with an all-cream outsole. It’s not confirmed yet if it will feature patent leather uppers.
Update: (3/25): The latest reports have the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG Shattered Back board 3.0 releasing on October 26th for a retail price of $160.
Update: (3/4) Sources say the sneaker will be dropping this fall on October 4.
It is being rumored (h/t SHOF) that another Court Purple iteration of the Air Jordan 1 High OG will be making its debut next year. Also being called the Air Jordan 1 High OG Court Purple, this pair will come in a Court Purple, White, and Black color scheme. This new Court Purple colorway is said to come dressed in “Chicago” color blocking. The reason we say “said to come dressed”, is because no images of the actual upcoming release have leaked. Above you will find a rendering done by @zsneakerheadz to give you an idea of what the sneaker could end up looking like.
Look for the Air Jordan 1 High OG White Court Purple to release this April 2020 at select retailers and Nike.com for $160.
